We definitely need an increase to that! Either that or start giving people an IQ test and ban the morons from the game.

there is absolutely no good reason for it to have any limit. I have complained to ANet support about this issue before - they cleverly avoided answering it.

*also would it be possible to have it customized so that when you open it, you can have some catigories closed (collapsed)?

ex: Open friends list and have just the catagory Friends Online expanded and have the Friends Offline collapsed

List or no list, I ignore you all already anyway.
Somebody whispered to me, that I had to join their pug, or he would hunt me down and kill my family. The ignore list can never be long enough for that kind of people.

same.

I'll put a person or two on ignore then a couple days later take them off. There are so many players that I rarely see the same people in a short time period.

You dont really need to keep a player on ignore forever. Chances are, you wont be seeing them again anytime soon.

If you ignore someone , will they be able to see you as offline? or just they won't be able to send message to you?

They wont be able to write to you, it will say anything like this "This person is ignoring you" or something like that... And one question, how many can you ignore now atm?

I have four players on my Ignore List. All of them are people who refuse to believe that I am not a girl.

Every time I log on, it's:
1 -"Hey beautiful."
2 - "Hey baby!"
Me - "I'm not a girl!"
1 - "sure ur not"
2 - "lol stop playing, will u b my valentine?"
Me - "No."
2 - "omg my <3 just broke into 4"

The power of accidental ~'s and random ^_^v smileys.

God, gamers can get so stupid and ignorant.

I wouldn't mind having an extended list of Ignore, just so I can take down all the immature players that I meet. I realize how few players there will be that I can interact with if I do so.

I have 3 people on ignore, it would be more considering my criteria to get there, but these ones were just bigger jerks than the rest. Moochers go on my list, people that I have grouped with that refuse to help, then are jerks to the group afterwards. I never want them in my group again, I put them on my list so as to never forget.

It would be nice to have 4 categories instead. That way the ignore could be a temporary leave me alone feature. Then you could have a list for people that you had a really bad overall experience with. Not just dumb people, but people that just really hit that nerve then wouldn't stop. And instead of it being like the ignore feature, it could show all their character names like the friends list. That would be very nice.

1 ignored person is counted as a friend in your friend lidt, sometime i have to unignore someone to add a friend, or put out a friend to ignore someone else...

this is BAD

If your ignore list is full, I'm sure the very first 5 people on your list either forgot about you or in turn also ignored you so clear ya whole list.
